Acne question- can acne treatment stop working after using it for too long?
i started using the neutrogena advanced acne treatment kit last august. it worked really well, it cleared up my face for the most part although I still got the occasional pimple. that was up until this weekend. in the last 2-3 days I have 6 new pimples all over my face. did my acne treatment stop working?? should i keep using it or get something else? do you reccomend proactiv?

Should I go to the OBGYN or the dermatologist if I want to go on YAZ birth control?
I have irregular periods still, (I am 20) and I have moderate acne. I am stuck as to what to do for my skin because I have tried almost everything including countless over the counter treatments, and 5 different types of antibiotics (topical and oral). Obviously, none of which worked. I am beginning to think that my acne is hormonal. I have heard great things about Yaz, and I am thinking about giving it a try. Should I go to my Dermatologist or my OBGYN for the prescription? I have heard that you can only get the prescription if you need BC for BC…but I really only want to take it to keep my skin clear! If I go to the dermatologist and ask to take birth control, will they allow me too? Should I specifically ask for YAZ?
